　  パタンバイ　Patangbai
バリ島の南東側の小さな入り江とその東のアムック湾のチャンディダサに多くのダイビングサービスがあります。ダイビングはアムッア湾内のブルーラグーンやジェッティといったリーフ。少し沖合のテペコン島、ビアハ島、ミンパン岩礁等のウォールがあります。湾内はリーフフィッシ、カエルアンコウ、ハナダツ、ホウボウやウミウシ、オラウータンクラブ、スパイダークラブ等の生息するマックポイントになります。沖合の島々はホワイトチップシャークやスイートリップス等との遭遇と9月から10月にはマンボウとの遭遇率が上がります。

マンボウの実際の遭遇率は25％程度といわれているのでマンボウを見るためにはある程度の期間の滞在が必要なります。

ただしこれらに島々には南からの冷たい海流があたるので水温は20℃近くまで下がることが多いです。

There are many diving services in Candi Dasa, located in a small cove on the southeastern side of Bali and in Amuk Bay to its east. Diving sites include reefs such as the Blue Lagoon and the Jetty. A little further offshore are wall dives at Tepekong Island, Biaha Island, and the Minpan Reef. Inside the bay, the reef serves as a macro hotspot inhabited by reef fish, frogfish, pipefish, gurnards, sea slugs, orangutan crabs, and spider crabs. Offshore islands offer encounters with white-tip sharks and sweetlips, and the chances of seeing manta rays increase from September through October. However, because these islands are exposed to cold currents from the south, water temperatures often drop to around 20°C.

レンボガン　Lembongan

レンボガン島には新しくなったサヌール港よりスピードボートで40分ほどで着きます 島には桟橋がないので白砂のビーチから上陸します。足がぬれても良い恰好が必要です。街にはバリ本島と異なり、瀟洒で眺望の良いレストランやホテルが多数あります。
マンボウとの遭遇が期待できるペニダ島の南部のCRYSTAL　BAYやMANTA POINTはインド洋側からの冷たい海流が直接あたるので年間を通じて水温は24℃前後と赤道近くにしてはかなり冷たいです。マンボウの実際の遭遇率は25％程度といわれているのでマンボウを見るためにはある程度の期間の滞在が必要なります。 一方島々の北側のポイントの水温は27℃前後で美しいソフトコーラルの広がっています。

You can reach Lembongan Island in about 40 minutes by speedboat from the newly renovated Sanur Harbor. Since there is no pier on the island, you’ll disembark on the white-sand beach. Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet. Unlike the main island of Bali, the town features many elegant restaurants and hotels with great views.
At Crystal Bay and Manta Point in the southern part of Penida Island—where you can hope to encounter ocean sunfish—cold currents from the Indian Ocean flow directly in, keeping the water temperature around 24°C year-round, which is quite cool for a location near the equator. Since the actual encounter rate for ocean sunfish is said to be around 25%, you’ll need to stay for a certain period of time to see one. On the other hand, water temperatures at dive sites on the northern side of the islands are around 27°C. There, you’ll find beautiful soft coral reefs stretching out before you.

　サヌール南部にある日本人経営のショップ。プールも完備。ヌサベニダまではスピードボートで行き１日３本のダイビングが可能。バタンバイ、アメッド、ムンジャガンへのツアーもある。

　レンボガンビーチにあるイタリア人経営の老舗のショップ。アメッド、ムンジャガン等のアレンジあり。サヌールが本店でトタンベンにもショップがある。。
