There is a rare double barrier reef in the world surrounding Bangnu Island in the southeastern part of New Georgia Island, northwest of Guadalcanal Island. The reef on the east side has many channels, walls and muck diving points, and a diverse ecosystem is nurtured. You can encounter beautiful coral formations and flocks of red-headed parrotfish and giant tortoises.。
