◇フィリピンの首都マニラから飛行機で1時間、そこから船で30分程でロンブロン島にたどりつきます。飛行機はマニラからSWIFT AIR が火曜、木曜、土曜の週三便が飛んでいる。 ロンブロン島（Romblon）はフィリピンの島でシブヤン島、タブラス島と並ぶロンブロン州の主要な三島の一つ。ロンブロン島はコーラルトタイアングルの生物多様性の中心地であるヴェルデ島海峡のの終点に位置しています。 周囲には多くの島々あがり、海流も複雑ため、ロンブロンはインドネシアのレンベやアンボン、フィリピンのアニラオと比する、マクロ生物や珍種の宝庫です。

ロンブロン周辺や近隣の島々の地形はウォ－ル、カラフルなコーラルパッチ、ケーブ、キャニオンがあり、多様なダイビングスポットがあります。

代表的な生物はここにしか生息していないと言われるクロスジウロコウミウシ（通称：タイガーバタフライ）をはじめサシミシュリンプ、イトクズメリベ（英名：Melibe colemani）スカシウロコウミウシなどがいます。

◇It takes one hour by plane from Manila, the capital of the Philippines, and a 30-minute boat ride from there to reach Romblon Island. SWIFT AIR flies from Manila three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Romblon is one of the three main islands of the Philippine province of Romblon, along with Sibuyan and Tablas.
